How does Smokabulary select its entries?
1. Smokabulary staff (Smokab Lab) offers standard terms and phrases that are clearly established and not open to interpretation, while we reserve the remainder of the platform for our users to participate in this lively study.
What are the criteria for submission?
1. Smokabulary has a dedicated team of moderators (ombudsmen/ombudswomen, ombudspersons) that moderate the open discussion (cypher) that takes place among the Smokab community.
2. Smokabulary is a living, public reeference tool. Therefore, the more descriptive an entry the better. Please try to fill out all entry form boxes to make your entry more vivid, which helps continue to build the community and this living document.
3. Entries are either accepted or denied within 48 hours.
4. If you feel your entry was denied unfairly, please contact smokablab@smokabulary.com to share your perspective.
Does Smokablulary censor user entries?
1. Smokabulary is a living, public dictionary. We have no intention of censoring users’ language. However, we reserve the right to deny an entry if our staff finds words or entries harmful, illegal or destructive. Any and all illegal activity is prohibited. Translation: NO E-TRAPPING!
